Leon Uris has written many good books, but there are two I especially like - Trinity, wich gives a very good account of the reasons for some of the things that has happened in Ireland, and Hadji, wich does the same for Palestine. Greedy, ruthless, power-hungry leaders exploit others under the guise of religion.
